This page has one purpose: to prove that an appointment made on the live site is recorded correctly and reaches both the clinic and the client. It is not linked from any menu and is kept out of search results.

A temporary £0.50 appointment used to verify the live booking, payment and email process. Not a treatment.

The same live flow a client uses: a real slot is held, a real booking is created, and the clinic and client emails are sent by the booking system itself.

What a completed run confirms

  1. 01The £0.50 is recorded against the booking
  2. 02The booking is created and appears in your staff area
  3. 03The appointment date and time are stored exactly as chosen
  4. 04The clinic notification email is triggered automatically
  5. 05That email actually arrives in the notification inbox
  6. 06The client confirmation email is triggered and arrives
  7. 07The amount due and any balance are recorded correctly
  8. 08Recording the payment moves the booking to confirmed

The payment itself is recorded against the booking in the staff area, where confirming it also confirms the appointment: Booking administration.

ONCE VERIFIED

The test appointment can be switched off on its own, leaving every genuine treatment and booking untouched. Its record is identified by the treatment slug test-booking, so nothing else is affected.
