COURSE OVERVIEW
Microtox & Baby Botox Training
Microtox, Microbotox, Mesobotox and conservative anti-wrinkle work sit at the subtle end of toxin practice: small amounts, placed deliberately, chosen because the skin or the movement pattern calls for that approach. This private 1:1 course is built for practitioners who want to introduce that work into their own clinic with confidence — the assessment behind it, the difference between the techniques, and extensive supervised practice on live models rather than a day of slides.
FOUR NAMES, FOUR DIFFERENT THINGS
Microtox, Microbotox, Mesobotox & Baby Botox
These names are used as though they describe one treatment. They do not. The course is built around the difference, because a practitioner who cannot tell them apart cannot choose between them.
BABY BOTOX
A DOSING APPROACH TO THE MUSCLE
A lower dose or a more conservative pattern of conventional anti-wrinkle treatment: enough to soften movement while keeping expression. It is a philosophy of dosing, not a different place to inject.
MICROTOX / MICROBOTOX
SUPERFICIAL INTRADERMAL MICRODROPLETS
Very small amounts placed into the skin itself, in a grid of microdroplets, rather than into the muscle. Used primarily for skin quality: pore appearance, oiliness, superficial fine lines, texture and subtle refinement.
MESOBOTOX / MESO BOTOX
THE SAME PRINCIPLE, MESOTHERAPY DELIVERY
Superficial toxin delivered in a mesotherapy style — a series of small points across an area such as the forehead, the crow’s feet or the neck — and, where appropriate, through a microneedling device or MesoGold delivery.
GLASS SKIN
A RESULT, NOT A TECHNIQUE
The "glass skin" finish is what the superficial techniques are aiming at: a smoother, more even, more luminous surface. It describes an outcome, so the course teaches the technique behind it rather than a separate procedure.
The training teaches practitioners how to understand when each approach may be appropriate — how the movement pattern, the skin, the anatomy and the patient’s expectation decide which of them is the right answer, and when the honest answer is none of them.
TECHNIQUE IN PRACTICE
What Superficial Toxin Work Aims To Achieve
Reference images used during training: the areas most often treated, the refinement the technique is used for, and — on the neck — what the skin looks like immediately after and at two weeks, so you learn to recognise a normal response rather than a complication.

Reference material for practitioners. Individual patient results vary, and suitability is always assessed in person.
Treating patients as well as training? The patient-facing Microtox & Glass Skin Facial page explains the same technique from their side.

CONSULTATION & PATIENT SELECTION
Structuring the consultation, deciding who the subtle toxin approaches genuinely suit, and recognising the patients for whom a different treatment is the honest answer.
FACIAL ASSESSMENT & TREATMENT PLANNING
Reading movement, skin quality and anatomy together, then building a plan — areas, sequence and what to leave alone — before anything is drawn up.
ANATOMY, INDICATIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS
The anatomy that matters for superficial placement, the indications for each technique, and the contraindications that mean treatment should not go ahead.
TOXIN HANDLING & DILUTION PRINCIPLES
Reconstitution and dilution principles, safe storage and handling, and how dilution changes what a unit actually does in the skin.
PRODUCT SELECTION, DEPTH & DOSAGE
Choosing the product, the injection depth and the dose for the result you are trying to create — and understanding what each of those decisions changes.
MICROTOX & MICROBOTOX TECHNIQUE
Superficial intradermal microdroplet placement by manual needle: spacing, depth, dose per point and the pattern across each area of the face.
MESOBOTOX & DELIVERY METHODS
Mesotherapy-style delivery, microneedling-device delivery where appropriate, and MesoGold delivery — how each changes placement and result.
BABY BOTOX PRINCIPLES
Conservative anti-wrinkle dosing: softening movement rather than switching it off, and how to judge a dose that still looks like the patient.
SKIN-QUALITY APPLICATIONS & AFTERCARE
Pores, oiliness, superficial fine lines and texture across the face and, where appropriate, the neck — with aftercare, complication awareness and knowing when not to treat.
PRACTICAL TRAINING
Practical Training
This is not a theory day. The principles are taught at the couch, around your own technique, and the majority of the day is spent treating live models under direct supervision — with your trainer beside you correcting depth, dose and placement as you work.

COURSE DETAILS
The Detail
PRIVATE 1:1 TRAINING
Why 1:1?
You should not have to compete for practical time.
Group training is paced for the room. Private training is paced for you: the course responds to your experience, your questions and the pace at which your technique actually develops.
YOUR TRAINER’S FULL ATTENTION
Your trainer is working with you and only you for the duration of the course.
MORE OPPORTUNITY TO ASK QUESTIONS
Ask as things come up, as often as you need to, without holding up a group.
PRACTICAL LEARNING
More of the day spent practising under direct supervision, less time watching.
TRAINING AT YOUR PACE
Time is spent where you need it — on the areas you find hardest, not a fixed schedule.
Training In Action
Private 1:1 training, from assessment through to supervised practice.

Frequently Asked
No, and the course teaches them as two different things. Baby Botox is a lower-dose, more conservative way of treating the muscle — softening movement rather than switching it off. Microtox and Microbotox place very small amounts superficially into the skin itself, aiming at skin quality: pores, oiliness, fine lines and texture. The course covers when each approach may be appropriate, and how to tell the difference on a real face.
No. The principles are taught at the couch, around your own technique, and the majority of the day is supervised practical treatment on live models.
A registered healthcare background or equivalent is required, because botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine. Previous injecting experience is not essential — tell us about your background when you enquire and we will pitch the day correctly.
A £99 holding deposit secures your date, and the remaining balance is payable before your training date. Get in touch and we will confirm current availability.
You are trained on the products, dilutions and doses used in clinic, with the principles explained so they transfer to your own prescribing arrangements. Those specifics are not published on this page.
Lifetime support. You keep ongoing access to your personal trainer for questions, guidance and case discussion after the course.
Yes. Supervised treatment on a live model forms part of the practical training day, following the consultation, assessment and treatment plan you develop with your trainer.
You are welcome to arrange multiple suitable models. How many are treated on the day depends on time, clinical suitability, the consultation, treatment appropriateness and your trainer’s approval — we would rather promise you proper supervision than a fixed number.
